The Weekend...
The Weekend…
Friday afternoon… took Grandma to lunch after the OUC Student Senate meeting. Went home… talked with a friend online. Watched some TV and played around with my new blog. Posted a few items to it… went out to dinner with Mom and Grandma later that evening. Did some shopping… Watched a new episode of Star Trek: Enterprise which I missed last week both times due to power outages in my area… Good episode to… missing watching Star Trek even more than I was a few months ago when I found out they were going to cancel this show. The night was boring… talked with a friend online and played a video game. Went to bed…. Ended up watching TV in bed until about 3 am.
Saturday morning… 7 a.m. ish. I’m sound asleep and dad wakes me up to borrow a hat. Great way to star the morning…needless to say I couldn’t get back to bed after that. 9 am ish… I get up to call to see if they need me for work. They do… In the misty rain I picked balls at work… cursing silently staying up until 3 am previous night watching TV and talking with people online. I’m dead tired. The long day begins… Needless to say… picking up balls is very boring. Lots of free time… So I took the time while I was going back and forth on the driving range picking up balls to pray to god for all the good in my life. Halfway in tears at one point… but needless to say it was good to get some stuff of chest to god.
Around noonish… I get the phone call I wanted to hear. Dad’s game in Newark was canceled and there free for the evening. So I left work early, went to visit a friend at OUC, and then drove straight home. Dad was dead tired… having been up since 6 am… so I offered to drive the whole family to Lancaster to the mall, to dinner and to a movie. So around 4ish I drove to Lancaster. Spent the entire evening shopping, eating dinner, and then we went to see Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Great book… good movie. I got a DVD and a few nice shirts at the Mall. That night I drove home… eager to get the day out of the way I got on the computer and talked to a few friends and then went to bed. My normal grind of the past few weeks…I stuck in a movie and watched it until I passed out in bed.
Sunday morning… I got up, got my shower, went to church. Just me and Grandma for the afternoon. Dad’s game got rescheduled for Sunday… so they were gone. Anyway… went to church and then to lunch with Grandma. Fun times with my Grandma... I don’t often see many people taking there grandma to lunch in there free time and of there own free will. I love my grandma and would do anything to make her happy. So anyway… spend the rest of the afternoon talking to a friend online about some stuff that happened this weekend, I walked the floodwall for about an hour, went to Sam Goodys to order a CD and then went out to dinner with Mom and Dad. Rented a movie to watch this evening… so I can get my ass away from the computer for the evening or have something to watch in bed tonight. I’m not waiting for a message from a friend online… then planning on going to bed. Stomach is a little upset right now... not sure if it was from something I ate at dinner or nerves. Goodnight… gimmi a good Monday… I could use one.
