Bored Friday Post...
Okay so the day started off fairly well, I got up like normal, said some prayers, stared at my nightstand a while I wished I could sleep for more than 2 hours straight for once with out waking up. Grandma and I did lunch like normal, which was great. I had a salad and a bowl of vegetable soup. I’ve been trying to eat healthy again and cut down on the fatty foods. Grandma always gets one pancake and two sausage links and a cup of coffee. So yeah, drove to the Student Senate meeting, did that stuff. Pretty much the same stuff we covered Wednesday, with a few exceptions. I talked to a few friends before I went home to do some yard work.
I ended up mowing pretty much the rest of the afternoon. I got in some good one on one Matt time while I pushed the lawn mower back and forth across the yard for almost an hour and a half. While I mow I have plenty of time to think about stuff and just work out some of the things that have been on my mind recently. Anyway it’s really satisfying to look at the yard and see how nice it looks when I’m finished. Yard really looks good if I do say so myself. Once I finished my half of the mowing I went down stairs worked out for a little bit then I took a shower. After I was nice and clean I went down stairs a while and did some chatting with a friend online. Her mom was taken to the hospital today and I can only hope she’s okay and that her mom recovers. So I was thinking about her for a while.
About 5:30 I went to Subway with mom for dinner, picked up food and brought it home to eat. Around 6:30 I figured it was time to head off to hang with my friends for the evening. I drove to my friend’s house, when I pulled up I noticed there were no cars in the driveway, and not a soul insight! So I called up one of my friends and he didn’t answer. So I chilled in the parking lot for a few minutes thinking perhaps someone else might show up, but no one did. So I drove around town a while trying to find something to do, ended up at Zane Trace High School of all places to check out this new building there are building near the Football Field. It’s pretty cool looking. Decided since I wasn’t doing anything I should get my dad a Fathers Day Card, picked that up, and drove home.
Spent the rest of the evening watching a DVD on the laptop downstairs and endlessly hoping someone would call and break the boredom that was my Friday evening. Mom and dad continued to clean things around the house, while I did some journal writing, thinking, more thinking and finally decided I should blog my boring Friday out. So here I am… typing this thing hoping someday someone reads this and sees how pathetic my life really is and perhaps finds some use for this shit I’ve been typing. Anyway tomorrow looks promising, but I think I said that about today… Sisters Grad party, a few friends coming over. Lots of family will be in town. Work in the morning will be a bitch but my second mom thankfully is working the same hours so I can’t wait to see her. LOL! Woo! Goodnight all.
